Kardemummakaka med citronfrosting

Kardemumma är en fantastiskt god smaksättare, i kombination med kanel, blåbär och inte minst citron ( föga förvånande med ytterligare ett citronrecept eller hur?)

Just denna kaka är barnsligt enkel att lyckas med, saftig och alldeles lagom till en slät kopp kaffe på lördag förmiddag.

 

Kardemummakaka med citron glasyr

 

75g smör

3 dl mjöl

2 tsk bakpulver

2 tsk stött kardemumma

3 ägg

2 dl strösocker

1 1/2 dl mjölk

 

1/2 citron

Ca 1-2 dl florsocker

 

Sätt ugnen på 175 grader, smält smöret och ställ sedan åt sidan. Blanda mjöl, bakpulver och kardemumma i en liten skål. 

Vispa ägg och socker vitt och fluffigt med elvisp. Sikta sedan mjölblandningen och rör försiktigt samman med en slickepott. 

Tillsätt sedan sakta smöret och mjölken och fortsätt röra samman med en slickepott. 

 

Smöra och bröa en form och häll upp smeten. Grädda i nederdelen av ugnen i ca 40 minuter. 

 

När kakan är klar ( kolla med sticka) så vänd formen upp och ner på ett bakplåtspapper och låt vila i formen ett par minuter innan du försiktigt lossar formen.

 

Pressa ur saften från en halv citron och rör i florsockret. Mängden florsocker beror på hur mkt citronsaft det blir. Det skall bli en vit trögflytande glasyr.

 

När kakan har svalnat häller du glasyren över och sedan är det klart att servera.
